25 years ago, with nobody employing Industrial designers, I hung up my BA and MA and became a lecturer, teaching FE students 2D/3D AutoCAD and CAD/CAM. Whilst this might confirm that I have a lot of experience in the use of Autodesk products, it also means that I have training material older than some of the youngsters’ at Strides!
The majority of my career has been spent working for several of the “Platinum” Autodesk Resellers. I became a Certified, (Certifiable?), Autodesk application engineer, training and supporting 2D/3D AutoCAD, Architectural Desktop, Revit, and Studio Viz. (I also became a Bentley Institute Instructor, training and supporting 2D/3D Microstation)
In 2004 I was the principal author of 3 AOTC, (Autodesk official training Courseware) Training manuals, used throughout Europe, and also in the USA.
My principal role at Stride Treglown is to encourage, and support, the delivery of digital design, and related BIM processes.
