Landscape enhancement for Singleton Campus

Stride Treglown Landscape, commissioned by the University estates department developed a Landscape Strategy for the Singleton Campus. The initial study work has been embraced by the facilities team and used as a essential tool to priorities funding. Following this study Stride Treglown Landscape have been working directly with the facilities management team to roll out the identified opportunities for landscape enhancement and new public realm.

The landscape Strategy has informed the development of detail designs and the way the university’s public spaces are used. It also informs materials selection, furniture provision, wayfinding and accessibility. Fundamental to the campus is the implementation of a landscape which responds to the historic setting and listed buildings of the university whilst providing robust solutions suitable for the demanding use of a campus.
