Rachel ‘stands tall’ on her WiP chairmanship

9th June 2017

We’re delighted that Divisional Director, Rachel Bell is now Chair of the Women in Property (WiP) South West branch.

Rachel has been an active member of WiP for eleven years. During this time, membership has grown rapidly and the significance of Women in Property has expanded across the south west. Rachel was also instrumental in establishing the Winchester branch, where our local office is an active member.

Commenting on becoming Chair, Rachel (at 152cm tall) said:

My theme for the year is ‘Stand Tall’ we have achieved so much over this last year with an increase in membership by 27% and we want to continue to grow” through her ongoing links to schools Rachel also stated: “I’m making increasing our engagement with schools a key focus for the coming year as the future of the industry depends on being able to attract young people. Many of them – male and female – simply have no idea of the range of careers on offer in property and construction and we’re trying to address that.

David Hunter, Chairman of Stride Treglown added:

We’re delighted that Rachel is taking on the role of branch Chairman. Rachel’s efforts in engaging young people with the industry are hugely important and this position gives her a platform from which to promote this further. We’ll do what we can to support her.
