Rob Delius speaking at Architecture Centre 20th anniversary

Rob Delius, Head of Sustainable Design for Stride Treglown, will be talking at the 20th anniversary of Bristol’s Architecture Centre on Friday 23rd September.

He will join a delegation of community representatives, clients and acclaimed designers to discuss the past, present and future state of architecture in the city, with a talk about ‘identity’.

With recollections from those who helped shape Bristol, a provocative debate about opportunities on sites such as Castle Park, and a key note by Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners, delegates have been asked to consider how Bristol has changed over the past 20 years,  what we can hope to achieve in the next 20 years, and what role does architecture and place-making really have to play?.

Other speakers include:

  • Ivan Harbour – Director of international architectural firm RSH+P
  • Peter Murray – Co-founder of Blueprint magazine & chairman of New London Architecture
  • Timothy Mowl – Emeritus Professor of History of Architecture and Designed Landscapes at the University of Bristol
  • David Mellor – Founder of Architecture Centre and outgoing Chair
  • Sasha Lubetkin – The Architecture Centre’s first Director
