CDM Regulations Change on 6th April 2015

Construction Design & Management (CDM) Regulations are changing on 6th April, 2015. How does this affect you?

The principal changes are as follows:

  • Client duties have been strengthened
  • CDM Coordinator has been replaced by a Principal Designer
  • Principal Designer and Principal Contractor will be required on all projects
  • Replacement of competence requirements with need for appropriate Information, Instruction, Training & Supervision
  • Introduction of Domestic Clients
  • Change to the HSE’s Notification level
