We are delighted to announce that Cora Kwiatkowski, Divisional Director for Stride Treglown, has been appointed as a Built Environment Expert (BEE) by Design Council Cabe, following their recent recruitment of 150 additional BEEs.
She will be one of just 22 new BEEs in the South West and part of a network of 400 design experts, the largest and most skilled group of its kind in the country.
Design Council Cabe’s BEEs come from a diverse range of professional backgrounds, and include planners, landscape architects, architects, urban designers, engineers, public health professionals, community engagement and data specialists.
Since joining Stride Treglown in 2006, Cora has been responsible for a wide range of projects in the UK, including offices, residential, masterplan and education projects, as well as writing design codes. Her refurbishment of Eastleigh House for Eastleigh Borough Council won a regional BCO and RICS Award as well as the LABC Building Excellence Awards for ‘Best Inclusive Building’.
Cora is already a member of The Devon & Somerset Design Review Panel and the Design Commission for Wales’ Design Review Panel. She regularly contributes to industry publications including The Green Register and Architect’s Choice.
Commenting on her appointment as a BEE, Cora said:
