The Green Business Park development at Filwood Green is currently under construction at Hengrove Way, Bristol. The development’s Architecture, Interior Design and Landscape Architecture is by Stride Treglown, with Ch2m Hill providing M&E and Structural advice.
We have also provided Planning consultancy services at all stages of the project. The Green Business Park forms a key component of Bristol’s Green Capital programme. The scheme is due to complete by the end of February 2015. The project achieved BREEAM Outstanding at design stage and Midas are on track to achieve this with the final constructed building.
The building has been designed to work to the highest levels of environmental performance and will have a diverse range of units to suit a wide range of business requirements. Accommodation includes a workhub at the heart of the building which will encourage interaction and communication between the many different types of tenants. This area will form a showpiece for the Eagle House Pop Up Furniture Factory whose first live project is to manufacture furniture for the development at their new Knowle West base. Their involvement is in keeping with the community focus of the development, with the original idea for the Park coming from local people during the preparation of an outline masterplan by the Homes & Communities Agency.
We recently assisted in setting up a Women In Property tour of the development.
