Naomi Cripps

Interior Designer

Naomi believes Interior Design is the unsung hero of user experience and loves to use her skills to optimise the way people inhabit space.

She works across various sectors including Student Living, Universities, Hotels and Healthcare. Her holistic approach to design means she has a strong understanding of how interior schemes come together, from the architecture of a space to the finer details that fill it.

What is the current big trend in Interior Design?

I do my best to avoid interior trends. We need to follow a more circular economy and invest in sustainable and quality materials which, when paired with our design skills, will create timeless environments.

What is your proudest moment?

Graduating in Interior Architecture & Design with a 1st class degree. After pouring my heart and soul into my degree, I received firsts in every single unit in my final year.

What is the greatest invention ever?

The camera. It allows us to capture and preserve moments, so I guess it’s the closest thing we have to a time machine.

Best book you’ve read?

The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. It’s a story about the power of believing in your dreams. A book I’d highly recommend to anyone in need of some soul-stirring wisdom!

Pet hate?

Slow walkers. Pavements should have a fast lane! Maybe I’ll pitch that to our Urban Designers?
