Prime accommodation schemes with high quality living areas, excellent facilities and ideal location

Stride Treglown were approached by Berkeley Homes Ltd to provide our expertise in modular construction on this 313 bed student accommodation scheme in Oxford. We provided the role of delivery architects with Berkeley Homes’s in-house team having designed the building originally. The scheme, located minutes away from the Headington Campus, had a detailed planning consent and was being developed for Oxford Brookes University. We provided detailed design services and maintained a watching brief whilst the project was onsite.

Upon completion, the accommodation comprises of fully furnished cluster flats for 4, 5 or 6 residents and also studio flats – with fully fitted kitchens, lounge areas. All flats have been interior designed, have ensuite facilities and are fully furnished in contemporary style with a large bed.

Dorset House remains one of the prime accommodation schemes for Oxford Brookes University students due to the high quality living areas, excellent facilities and ideal location.

We were recommended to use Stride Treglown owing to their detailed knowledge of modular construction. This combined with their extensive student accommodation experience was invaluable on this project, and we look forward to working with them again.
