Royal Holloway, University of London
Completion

Background

Royal Holloway is developing its historic estate to provide a 21st century campus that meets the needs of everyone studying and working at the University today.

The Stride Treglown Town Planning team needed a website to support the public consultations being held for the nine projects across the University’s Estate Plan. The website needed to adhere to the University’s branding guidelines with a simple user experience for all to easily access information from the consultations.

Outcome

The main navigation is clear and responsive and allows visitors to easily navigate the information of the overall estate plan and each of the projects.

In addition to the main navigation the Estate Plan page displays an interactive plan of the University when visited from a desktop or tablet. This allows visitors to easily view the location of each of the projects on the plan and access information for each project directly from the plan.

The information shown on the display boards at the public consultations is available as project pages in a responsive format. The pages can be viewed across all screen sizes with a PDF of the display boards also available for download.

The website connects to live consultation surveys for each project allowing the public to leave their comments and thoughts. The surveys and downloads can be found as clear call to action buttons at the bottom of the relevant pages. Past iterations of the display boards are also displayed at the bottom of pages to allow users to see the changes being made with each consultation.
