St James’s Place
Inspired by the surrounding countryside, this new office makes coming to work a walk in the park
Sometimes it doesn’t feel like you are at work at all.
From a member of staff who now occupies the office we designed, the above quote sums up this BCO award-winning workplace. Sitting on the edge of a conservation area in the Cotswold town of Cirencester, our restrained palette of natural materials includes traditional ashlar limestone, black granite and natural timber brises soleils, creating a modern office that slots in nicely with its picturesque setting.
An internal layout and planning grid were designed to allow maximum flexibility for the client and the opportunity to sub-letting individual floors, whilst our interior design team was commissioned separately to undertake the internal fitout. We complemented the exterior by using stone, timber and glass with leather furniture, and a real flame fireplace is framed by the honed granite entrance and limestone reception feature.
