Rachel Bell appointed WiP Vice Chairman

Rachel Bell, Division Director for Stride Treglown, has been appointed as the Vice Chairman to Natasha Cottell (Wates) for the Association of Women in Property (WiP), and will take over as Chairman from 2017.

She has been a member for nearly 10 years, having joined in May 2006, and has been on the committee for the last 8 years.

Rachel started as a general committee member of the South West branch, before taking the role of roadshow coordinator. She also worked with schools to encourage and educate girls and young women to consider a career in property and construction. Over the last 4 years Rachel has been heavily involved in running an eco home design competition for year 9/10 students in Bristol, before initiating a push on adding Bath events to the range of activities that WiP undertakes. She is also the link to the newly launched Winchester subcommittee.

Commenting on the appointment, Rachel said:

“Women in Property has provided a very valued support network which I hope to encourage many others to take advantage of. I have found the schools work in the region very rewarding and motivating and its great to see young students open up to different career options in the industry. I am really looking forward to supporting Natasha in her year as Chairman and taking on the challenge myself in 2017”

Rachel will be in Cannes next week at MIPIM, contact her if you would like to arrange a meeting.
