We are delighted to announce that Rove Downtown Dubai, the first property under Rove Hotels by Emaar Properties and Meraas, has been shortlisted for the Commercial Interior Design awards MENA – ‘Interior Design of the Year: Hotels’ award!
Described by Harper’s Bazaar Arabia as “an artsy boutique hotel that mixes comfortable living with eclectic works of art”, the design of the 420-room hotel revolves around the idea of an uncommon Dubai, but with elements of Arabic heritage.
The design elements and art installations reflect the new generation of Emiratis, a platform for Arabic art and culture that has been established in the region, with the hotel design concept showcasing these elements in a fun and eclectic way. The design of the Daily, an all-day into late night neighborhood hangout spot with the hotel, was designed in collaboration with Amsterdam-Dubai based FG stijl.
The awards ceremony is being held in Dubai at the Madinat Jumeirah on the 21st September, 2016.
