Historic refit leads to trebling trading area
Working with conservation officers, Stride Treglown redesigned the 1960’s façade after much research into archive photographs of historic shop fronts in the area. The result is a new frontage design to match the heritage of the area and the tenant. Stride Treglown were able to tailor their design to satisfy both parties, preserving the fabric of the city and also creating a shop to meet with the aspirations of the tenant.
Internally, major internal alterations were carried out, which added considerable value to the property. These bold design moves included opening up the basement area and upper floors to create a unit with three times more trading area than the original.
