Sunley Hotel, University of Northampton

Hospitality at the heart of a student campus.

The new Waterside Campus for University of Northampton consolidates academic facilities into one location including a substantial proportion of the University’s residential accommodation.

A new Student Village consists of 994 student beds as well as additional facilities including a health centre, multi-faith chaplaincy, convenience store, launderette and hotel. The extra facilities within the development are available for use by the student population and wider community.

The Sunley Hotel is located at the heart of the campus, Delapre Place, at the crossroads between the Student Village, Learning Hub and Students Union.

The Hotel has been designed to provide affordable accommodation for those visiting the campus or the local area. It also provides teaching facilities for students enrolled on Events, Tourism and Hospitality courses. The interior design references the 900 year history of Northamptonshire’s shoemakers through its furniture, finishes and artwork.
