Remembering Kathryn Biggadike

It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of our dear colleague, Kathryn Biggadike, following an extended period of illness.

Kathryn joined us in February 1997 and dedicated 28 years of exceptional work to the company. Throughout her career, she had an unwavering passion for working with existing buildings, leaving her mark on countless successful Defence and Higher Education projects that stand as testament to her talent as an architect.

While Kathryn’s professional achievements are significant, the lasting impact she made extends far beyond her project work. Kathryn had a remarkable ability to make everyone feel valued, offering support and encouragement to those around her, particularly to younger team members finding their way in the profession.

Kathryn’s gentle approach and genuine concern for others created a positive atmosphere wherever she worked. She was a cherished member of the company whose warmth and friendship touched many lives across the practice. Kathryn’s presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and working alongside her.

Our thoughts are with Kathryn’s family and friends.

A lunchtime gathering for friends and colleagues will be held at Promenade House on Thursday 5th June to remember Kathryn and celebrate the time we shared working with her. Please contact Anna Heywood if you’d like to join us.
