Ten years of Green Week
We celebrated ten years of Green Week – our annual event dedicated to learning, debate, action and fun, all themed around sustainable issues.
Our tenth anniversary provided us with a great opportunity to reflect on the past decade. What have we learnt? And how far have we come?
But it was an even better opportunity to pause and think about the next decade. Where do we need to be in 2030? And how do we get there? In the words of Architects Declare, a ‘paradigm shift’ in our behaviour is necessary.
Programme
We had a packed programme of digital events focusing on the latest in sustainable design and practice.
Speakers
A wonderful group of inspirational speakers led our learning sessions.

Thirty-four times around the world
Staggeringly, that’s how far we travelled for meetings last year.
But lockdown has proven we can work virtually with success. So why go back to old habits? Director, Rob Sargent urges our industry to commit to a permanent reduction in business travel.

As this is a special anniversary, we wanted to take some time to reflect on 10 years of learning, debate, action and fun – all themed around important sustainable issues. Here are our 10 favourite memories…
Looking Forward
We all need space to grow.
Rob Delius, our Head of Sustainability and originator of the Therapeutic City Festival, says it’s time to do more to tackle ‘space inequality’ and here are the reasons why.
Looking Back
A journey of discovery through South-East Asia.
Dodging poisonous gases, riots in Hong Kong and the coronavirus pandemic during 6 months’ travelling in South-East Asia, Seya Tansill witnessed first-hand the interconnectedness of everything, an experience that deepened her commitment to sustainability and manufactured design.
