Stride Treglown has been selected as architects and landscape architects to produce a masterplan for 260 homes in Hengrove, South Bristol. We will be working with Kier Living, Bristol City Council and the local community for Phase 1 as part of a predominantly residential development.
With an excellent location along the Mounds Nature Reserve, Hengrove Park Leisure Centre, the City of Bristol College and the planned metro bus route, this an exciting opportunity to produce a highly sustainable, landscape-lead masterplan for the former airfield site.
The site is not far from our zero carbon Filwood Green Business Park, which was awarded ‘Best Eco-building’ by the Bristol Post in 2015.
Our other large residential development in South Bristol is Torpoint Road, which is already partially occupied and expected to be completed later this year. This solar-inspired scheme for 71 homes includes four passivhauses and extensive landscaping, with a park setting to give pedestrians priority and provide a sense of community.
