World Landscape Architecture Month: share your photos!

As part of April’s World Landscape Architecture Month, the Landscape Institute is encouraging you to take part in an international social media campaign to showcase unique, beautiful or interesting spaces which may have gone unnoticed.

Organised by the American Society of Landscape Architects, the idea is to get people taking and sharing pictures of landscape schemes of all scales and locations, showcasing spaces and places where design input can often be overlooked by the public. Last year’s campaign attracted fantastic photographs of rooftop gardens, ecoparks, tourist attractions, playgrounds,  and waterfront mega-schemes.

To take part, download the ‘This Is LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE’ card and include it in images to share on social media as shown in the picture. Use the hashtag #WLAM2016 and tag the Landscape Institute’s Twitter handle @talklandscape, and, if the image is of a Stride Treglown scheme, please also tag @StrideTreglown.

So, if you are out and about on site, walking along the river on your way to work, running in the park or taking your children to the playground, take a quick pic and post it on your social media accounts.

For more info, please visit the Landscape Institute or ASLA websites.
