What’s your conversation starter for RESI, Dominic?
I’ll try to avoid opening with Brexit, but it’s difficult not to! There are so many emerging themes to discuss with others involved in the industry. Minimum space standards always sparks a good debate.
Dominic will be at the Future Cities Forum on the 18th September. He is also attending The British Homes Awards on the 19th September, representing two of his shortlisted schemes in the Best Development (under £10m) category: Firepool Lock and Aldermaston Wharf
Ian Tipton, Regional Director, Birmingham & Midlands: Ian runs our Birmingham studio, formerly the architecture arm of Bournville Village Trust. He specialises in creating places with a people-first approach and is a lead voice in our #ShapingFuturePlaces initiative.
Ian, what are you looking forward to?
The #RESIHackathon on later living looks good. I’d recommend the panel looks at our Inhabitant series of Bournville Gardens. It’s first hand accounts of living in one of our schemes. It’s emotive, it’s everyday. It brings the architecture to life.
Ian will be at the West Midlands Forum for Growth on the 17th September and the National Urban Design Conference from the 26th – 28th September.
