Aisha works within the retail and mixed-use sectors. Her focus lies in designing spaces using a creative and sensory approach, reflecting a passion for immersive design solutions.
Additionally, she is part of our internal inclusion and diversity group ‘Stride Together’ and leads the Barriers to Progression task group. She’s also a member of the Design Review team in the Bristol studio.

What advice would you give your 20-year-old self?
Continue down the path if you sincerely believe it is meant for you, even if it becomes difficult and doesn’t seem right at first. Trust your instincts and stay the course.
Biggest cultural influences?
Northern Nigerian culture has profoundly shaped my identity and significantly influence my approach as an architect. The rich culture interwoven with global influences, has left an indelible mark on my perspective as an individual.
Best book you’ve read?
One of my favourites is ‘In Praise of Shadows’ by Junichiro Tanizaki. It’s such a beautiful read that touches on the simple things in life we often overlook.
