On Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th October, we welcomed the public into our Bristol studio for our first Art Show.
Hundreds of people – and plenty of four legged friends – came along to browse prints, paintings, ceramics, and jewellery created by 30 of our own talented artists, friends and family.
It was an incredible celebration of the creative talent we have here at Stride Treglown. It was also a fantastic way to meet our neighbours and connect with the wider community through the West Bristol Arts Trail.
Rob Sargent, Director and artist, commented:
It was a pleasure to give home talent an opportunity to show their work to the public. I was personally taken aback by the quality of work on display. I hope that the success of the weekend might lead to some professional artists of the future.
Thank you to everyone who dropped by and purchased an artwork. You helped us raise over £2,000 for the Children’s Scrapstore, a Bristol-based charity dedicated to diverting reusable waste towards art and play opportunities for children and adults.
