Laura brings a wealth of experience, a strategic outlook, and a desire to drive positive impact in the London Regional Director role.
We’re excited to announce Laura Cassullo as the new leader of our London studio. Laura has extensive experience in practice leadership, and across many large-scale projects in London and the UK. With a passionate interest in community and place-making principles, Laura focuses on the social as well as the technical aspects of design, driving sustainable and socially responsible outcomes across every project she works on.
Laura’s appointment aligns with our commitments to focus strongly on our regions. We have maintained a successful presence in London for the last 25 years, and this marks a significant new chapter in how we nurture client relationships and approach work in the Capital – and how future opportunities are catalysed across all our nine regions.
Speaking about the new appointment, Chair Pierre Wassenaar, commented:
We couldn’t be more delighted that Laura has joined us. Throughout a demanding selection process Laura impressed everyone with her understanding of us as a business, her can-do approach and her good humour. She gets us, and she gets what we’re trying to do, and I can’t wait to see where she takes us in London.”
Laura added:
I am thrilled to have been selected for this role and to have the opportunity to lead the London Team through this new chapter. Together we will continue to develop our profile in London and the southeast, focusing on a strategy that will be anchored in the positive impact principles that Stride Treglown embodies as a practice.”
Ray Williamson has steered the London studio for seven years and we recognise his exemplary service throughout. Ray is taking a well-earned opportunity to re-focus his role with us around his talents in design, urban masterplanning and work winning.
Laura has already hit the ground running as she helms a thriving studio of over 20 talented architects and technicians, and feeds into our regional and national strategy. We have no doubts that Laura’s hands-on approach and enthusiasm will inspire our efforts to create positive impact right across our practice and projects.
