UWE Bristol’s Purdown View student accommodation is the largest Passivhaus certified development in the UK, and one of the largest in the world. But that’s only part of its story.
The 900-bed development also aims to support student wellbeing by tackling social isolation on campus. To find out if this pioneering accommodation is working for the students who call it home, we revisited in December 2024.
