Committing to regions, driving urban change

Rachel Bell, our Head of Partnerships, and Pierre Wassenaar, our Chair, are attending MIPIM 2022.

Billed as the world’s leading real estate event, MIPIM this year looks to gather property leaders, experts and investors together to drive urban change.

Committing to regions

Whilst many in the industry have questioned their attendance – with some cancelling for very good reasons – we were never in doubt about going for the simple reason; we don’t just attend, we partner. And supporting our partners is a key value to our business.

This year, we are once again proud to support Invest Bristol & Bath and the Cardiff stand, with Rachel and Pierre aligned with both respectively.

Quality of place

Our partnership with Invest Bristol & Bath will see Rachel and Pierre host an informal roundtable with the theme: What does ‘quality of place’ mean in one of the UK’s most progressive regions? This will be an opportunity for lively discussion around the fifteen-minute city model, and how we can shape sustainable, inclusive and authentic urban centres. Our live regeneration framework project in central Bristol will draw learnings and aspirations into the mix.

The event will be held on the Invest Bristol & Bath stand (R9.C) on Thursday 17th March at 9.30am. Please sign up here.

Say hello

If you’re heading out this year and would like a chat with Rachel or Pierre in the sunshine, please get in touch. Diaries are filling up, but they’d like to make time for you if they can.

We’ve planted 12 trees in Parc Naturel Regionale du Haut-Languedoc on the outskirts of Toulouse to offset the 1.22 tonnes of C02 generated from our MIPIM flights, transfers and accommodation.
