What is your proudest moment?

Graduating during the pandemic with a first-class honours in Architectural Technology and the Environment. I managed to pull myself up from a 2:1 in 2nd year to a First in 3rd year (after placement), which made the achievement even more special! This was after previously being told to ‘give up’ during my school years!

If you weren’t in this career, what would you be?

If I had 20/20 vision, I would have perhaps considered a career as a Pilot!

What advice would you give your 20 year old self?

No matter what failures or setbacks you may have, if you remain focused on achieving your goals, you will get there in the end! Failure is not a sign weakness, it’s an opportunity.

What’s the greatest invention ever?

This is a tricky one as there’s so many great inventions. I would like to put forward the Wright Brothers and their ‘fixed wing aircraft’. Since then, the likes of Rolls Royce and Boeing have followed. It would have previously taken months to travel around the world, and now it only takes a matter of hours!
