Maite works in our Interior Design team across a variety of sectors including Universities, Hotels and Student Living.
She graduated as an architect in Peru. Having joined Stride Treglown in 2009, she worked mostly in the Defence sector before moving over to the Interior Design team in 2016.
If you weren’t in this career, what would you be?
A ceramicist.
What is your favourite project you’ve worked on to date?
Ticket office for a home design exhibition in Lima, Peru (CasaCor). As we were one of the exhibitors, we were free to do exactly what we wanted. Quite a change.
What is your proudest moment?
Seeing my daughter receive her GCSE results.
What is the greatest invention ever?
It’s difficult to choose from all the technological advancements, but I’m always amazed by all the things we can do with our mobile phones. My favourite part has been the good quality photos.
What advice would you give to your 20 year old self?
Explore doing different things, do everything with enthusiasm and really apply yourself. Do not fear making mistakes and enjoy the process. By doing this, you’re more likely to find your passion and excel at it.
