Stride Treglown announce new Regional Directors

10th January 2023

We’re delighted to announce the promotion of Isabelle Carter and Danny Harris to Regional Directors.

Isabelle Carter, our co-Head of Landscape Architecture, takes on a new role leading our Bath studio. Our Head of Schools & Colleges, Danny Harris will replace John Kirkby and join Kieran Lilley and Edward Davies in the strategic and operational leadership of our studios in Bristol.

Our Regional Directors play a crucial role. From developing a supportive culture that can deliver at pace, to building upon our innovation, creativity and responsiveness. They support our people and work across projects to ensure we deliver an exemplary service to our clients and partners.

Danny and Isabelle will continue to lead their own specialist areas.

Isabelle Carter, Bath Regional Director

“We will continue to focus on local sustainable initiatives and prioritise nature positive solutions.”

A certified Building with Nature Assessor, Isabelle will continue to lead our Landscape projects and help clients reach their biodiversity targets. Danny will remain as head of our Schools & Colleges sector – one that continues to innovate across Modern Methods of Construction, design for SEND provision, and net zero carbon.

On the new appointment, Isabelle commented:

‘I’m delighted and proud to be leading the Bath Studio. Our talented team have an exciting year ahead with unique projects in workplace, residential, leisure, technology and innovation sectors. Being recognised as Sustainability Champions at the Bath Property Awards is a real accolade and reflects my passion for protecting and enhancing the environment. I’m looking forward to bringing my strengths to the role as landscape lead, developing and building on our B Corp values and to continue the positive impact we create in the region and for our clients. We will continue to focus on local sustainable initiatives and prioritise nature positive solutions.’

Danny Harris, Bristol Regional Director

“I look forward to leading our strong pipeline of teaching, research, and industry-linked projects within Bristol and the WECA region.”

Danny Harris, who is also the current RIBA Bristol-Bath Regional Chair, added:

“I am really pleased to lead one of our Bristol studios, working across the education ‘super-sector’ on schools, colleges, higher education, technology and innovation and leisure. I have had a hand in all these sectors since joining the company. Over the past years, we have built a strong reputation nationally in these sectors. Our significant education projects within the city include Bristol Business School at UWE, the Institute for Advanced Automotive Propulsion Systems (IAAPS) at Bristol-Bath Science Park and Oasis Academy Temple Quarter. I look forward to leading our strong pipeline of teaching, research, and industry-linked projects within Bristol and the WECA region.”

Chair Pierre Wassenaar said:

“As a company we are all about making a positive impact through our work, combining industry leading excellence with a human touch.  Danny and Isabelle demonstrate these qualities in spades and we are delighted to welcome them into their new roles”.
