Live
Whether designing vibrant student accommodation, tranquil retirement communities, Build-to-Rent or co-living spaces, we start by examining the rhythms of everyday lives. By thoughtfully curating communal amenities and carefully considering transitional spaces, we enhance quality of life and encourage meaningful connections among residents.

Learn
We design innovative learning environments that recognise the diverse ways in which people learn. From cutting-edge university buildings to community learning centres, our designs inspire curiosity, encourage interaction, and nurture the natural passion for discovery.

Work
We design workplace environments that boost productivity, enhance employee wellbeing, and become powerful recruitment tools. Whether it’s an on-brand corporate headquarters or vibrant co-working hub, our spaces authentically reflect each organisation’s identity, values, and culture.

Our five guiding principles

1. Identity
Spaces should tell stories. We weave local culture and history into each project’s brand, furniture selections, and styling details to create environments with genuine character and purpose.

2. Collaboration
Successful commercial interior design is built on collaboration. We foster close relationships with clients, consultants, suppliers, and end-users—prioritising clear communication and collective problem-solving to ensure smoother delivery and better outcomes.

3. Wellbeing
The environments we inhabit profoundly shape our mental and physical health. We create spaces where people feel relaxed, uplifted, and part of something bigger. From acoustics and lighting to the balance of social areas and quiet zones, wellbeing considerations influence every design decision.

4. Sustainability
Environmental stewardship is at the heart of responsible design. We create sustainable spaces using responsibly sourced materials, biophilic design principles, and energy-efficient technologies that reduce operational impact. Each project is an opportunity to connect people with nature—through natural light, materiality, thoughtful colour palettes, and integrated greenery.

5. Human-centred design
Great spaces consider the complete user journey. We integrate signage, wayfinding, artwork and dressing—recognising that these elements are not afterthoughts but essential components of the human experience. Every touchpoint matters in creating truly cohesive environments.
We are very happy with the quality of the scheme and feel the design is really successful, our residents wanted something more vibrant and youthful and this scheme provides exactly that.
Ryan Fairbairn, Managing Director, Rangeford Developments
The Student Life Hub really works, a lot of people are using it. The students love the fact that the laundry is in the lounge because they can play table football or watch TV while their washing is going on. It’s made them come out from being keyboard people, to interacting with each other in the real world.
